During the Conference the participants presented their reports: "Interlibrary Service of Remote Users in the Republic of Belarus: Problems of Improvement" " (by Liudmila Kurilina); "NLB's Experience in the Field of Semantic Processing of Materials" (by Vera Myhlik); NLB's Information Resources on Ecology" (by Angelica Predeina); "Nlb's Internet-Portal as a Means of Information Resources Integration" (by Viktor Pshybytko). Furthermore, the NLB's specialists participated in the work of Conference's sections concerning different fields of librarianship: "Automated and Corporate Library Systems and Technologies"; "Information and Linguistic Supply of Library and Information Systems"; Internet and Internet-Technologies in Library and Information Activity"; "International Information Infrastructure, National Information Resources and National Libraries, Projects of International Cooperation" etc.

In the framework of the Conference took place the 6th sitting of the Interlibrary loan of member states of the CIS section "Member States of the CIS Libraries' Resources: Improvement of Resources Use on Purpose to Develop an Integrated Information and Cultural Space". During the sitting, the NLB submitted to the Section secretariat its suggestions concerning the project "Agreements on Post Discounts for Interlibrary Loan inside the CIS". The suggestions were all approved and adopted by the Secretariat. Furthermore, the NLB was characterized as a successful and promising interlibrary loan and documents delivery national center. Participants of the Setting expressed their keen interest to the NLB - information, social and cultural center located on the border of Europe and Asia, - and proposed to organize an international conference "West - East" dedicated to the problems of interlibrary loan and documents delivery, which may take place in the NLB in October - November 2007.

During an International Ecological Forum "World after Chernobyl: 20 Years after" and work of the Conference section "Ecological Information and Ecological Culture" were examined the results of a festival-competition of libraries' information resources on ecology and environment protection. NLB's database "Chernobyl", presented at the competition, was awarded with a letter of thanks .

Taking part in the Conference, the NLB's specialists had an excellent opportunity to share professional experience and improve their professional skills.
