TELEACTION "LET US CONSTRUCT THE LIBRARY TOGETHER"
On the 3rd of October 2002, all day long without technology breaks, telecasts of the National Television Channel are transmitted. This time was devoted to tele-marathon "Let us construct the Library together".
The object is to attract public attention to the problem as well as to conduct takings for construction of the National Library of Belarus.
15 MILLIONS ROUBLES FOR THE LIBRARY BUILDING
Many collectives of industrial enterprises, organizations and institutions of the Belarusian cities, including Mozyr, took part in the charity action. The staff of the Public Corporation "Petroleum Refinery of Mozyr" has transferred 15 000 000 roubles on the special charity account that was opened to attract the means for the Library building. Personal taking donations of the enterprises' staff for the national construction have been organized in collectives of all factory departments and structure divisions.
"DEIMLER-KREISLER" CONCERN TRANSFERED 20 000 EUR
TO BUILDING OF THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF BELARUS
The Germany Concern "Deimler-Kreisler" transfered financial donation at the rate of 20 000 Euro as sponsor help to charity account of the Belarusian Library for construction of the National Library new building. Andrey Savinyh, Assistant Chief of Information Management in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, reported about it on the briefing.
It supposes, these funds, besides construction of the new building, will be used for introduction of modern and advanced information technologies; automation of technology processes, engineer systems and equipment; provision of reading and official working places by modern hardware; as well as application of technology for high level of the Library's stocks safety.
INHABITANTS OF MINSK REGION WILL TRANSFER MORE THAN 600 500 000 BELORUSSIAN ROUBLES EARNED DURING THE SUBBOTNIK FOR THE LIBRARY BUILDING According to provisional data, the Information Administrative of Minsk region Executive Committee reported to "Interfax", what on the 19th of April 2003 488 729 persons from Minsk region took part in the Republican Subbotnik.
As a result, the Minsk region will transfer 600619,4 thousands Belorussian roubles for the construction of the National Library of Belarus.

THE HEAD OF THE STATE TAKES PART IN
CONSTRUCTION OF THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF BELARUS
Today (19.04.2003) in the framework of the Republican Subbotnik, Alexander Lukashenko, the Head of the State, takes part in erection of Row circles of the National Library new building. Ural Latypov, the Leader of the President Administration, Leonid Gulyako, the Minister of Culture, Michail Pavlov, the Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee as well as the Official of the President Administration work together with the Head of State on the construction. In last Saturday, on 19th of April 2003, judges and specialists of the Superior Economic Court of Belarus at the head of Victor Kamenkov, the Chairman of the Court, took part in the Republican Subbotnik.
In the course of voluntary labor a great volume of work on improvement of adjacent territories to the building was accomplished working places inside the construction and Paths, transplanted in honor of the 80th anniversary of economical justice of Belarus were tidied up.
Judges and specialists of economic courts from Minsk and regions also took part in the Republican Subbotnik.
The total of volunteers on the whole of economic courts system is 350 persons. All means, earned in this day, made up 3 millions roubles. They are transfered to construction of the National Library of Belarus that is main intellectual and information center of Belarus

On 19th of April 2003, public health organizations will take part in the Republican Subbotnik.
More than 40 employees of the Council of Ministry, headed by Gennadij Novickij, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, will work to prepare a ground for the construction of the Republican Children Heart Surgery Center on territory of the 1st City Clinical Hospital joint with employees of the Ministry of Health.

Vladimir Dradgin, the Deputy of Prime-Minister, and nearly 20 employees of the Council of Ministry will take part in the construction of the 2nd Children Hospital, located on address: 119 Masherov Avenue. The Ministry of Health employees will work here too.
In addition, the Ministry of Health body participates in the work of the City (Gromov Street in "Malinovka" micro-district) and working places improvement.
Employees of the Ministry decided to place voluntarily bankrolls, which earned during of the Republican Subbotnik, to construction of the National Library of Belarus new building.

On the February 2003, with blessing of the Metropolitan Minsky and Slucky Phylaret, Patriarchal Exarch the whole of Belarus, the VII International Festival of Orthodox Motets took place in Minsk.
A part of funds of these concerts was transfered to construction of the National Library.
